You are so strong, and this EP is a testament to your tenacity and your will to overcome any adversity that stands in the way of your dreams. Right before going on tour this week, @bethany_becker and I got to spend Mardi Gras weekend in NOLA. We caught up with both my band director from Elementary School AND my band director from high school.

Both of these guys made a huge impact on me that lead to my career as a professional musician, so getting to see them both right before going on tour was a huge blessing.

Shoutout to @awmoran452 and @mbucko9; thanks for the many years of working hard to influence and encourage your students to push past their perceived limitations 🤘

Such a surreal moment. I always tell rock musicians, students and colleagues, that if they want to learn how to put on a great performance, they need to watch @greenday’s Bullet in a Bible.

I vividly remember the moment when I saw @billiejoearmstrong perform at the New Orleans Super Dome right after Hurricane Katrina to raise funds for the city. That was THE moment that I decided that I wanted to be a full-time musician.

Now, 15 years later, I’m in a van loaded with a bunch of equipment on my way to play my first international show.

God’s opened a bunch of doors this year for me and my wife, and I could not be more grateful.

Three years ago today, I was in a room at @therubyhotelandbar, prepping for the biggest day of my life: marrying the love of my life.

@bethany_becker, I remember our first touch and praying with you over our marriage on that day. I remember how happy all of our family I was to see us making our love official.

I remember how radiant you were walking down the aisle (and will forever have the videos of many manly tears being shed while watching you walk towards me.)

I remember all of the amazing vendors who guided us on every detail leading up to the wedding day.

I remember the feeling of disbelief that fell over me as I walked out of our wedding venue with you: I somehow married Bethany Becker, the one woman who made me feel like I’d gone crazy with how much I loved her.

Most importantly, I’m reminded of how much you love me every single day. From the amazing big surprises to the little things like topping off my coffee without me needing to ask, I am reminded of how you love me so unconditionally.

I remember how radiant you were walking down the aisle (and will forever have the videos of many manly tears being shed while watching you walk towards me.)

I remember all of the amazing vendors who guided us on every detail leading up to the wedding day.

I remember the feeling of disbelief that fell over me as I walked out of our wedding venue with you: I somehow married Bethany Becker, the one woman who made me feel like I’d gone crazy with how much I loved her.

Most importantly, I’m reminded of how much you love me every single day. From the amazing big surprises to the little things like topping off my coffee without me needing to ask, I am reminded of how you love me so unconditionally.
